upgrading flare and using cli
Hello,
We are doing a flare upgrade on Sunday. We are going from FLARE 19 to FLARE 26. We use emc snapview to backup our database clones and have the scripts running on the master backup server. The engineer from EMC told me that we would also have to refresh our admsnap or any other software related to the backup scripts. Since we do not use admsnap, and it looks like we use the navisphere CLI(the scripts were written before I got here), I assume all he means is updating the agent, and navisphere CLI on the server that does the backups. Is there a command comparison guide somewhere that would show me if any commands have changed between the two versions of the CLI 19 > CLI 26.

Apart from Navisphere Suite, you need to check the compatibility of other Storage related software - mainly PowerPath, HBA Driver/Firmware etc and consider upgrading those as well.

You may also use Rel 29 (Latest) CLI - which supports Flare 26 on CX & CX-3 series arrays.

The strange thing is my backup server is a Solaris machine. When I go to the downloads tab, I can download Sparc for the CLI/Agent, however, I don't see an option to download secure CLI for flare 26 on Solaris Sparc machines.
