Blue Screen on VMX VM Simulator
Ive been trying to set the VNX VM simulator up in VMware workstation for a while now without any luck.
Ive tried eth VMware workstation & OVF versions but I hit the same issue. After I install & configure the simulator I open the web front end (Unisphere), the splash screen loads. I click the "Start a new EMC Unisphere session" link. I click Continue on the Java warning. I then see another EMC splash screen & then I get a pop up window which is blue with nothing on it. Ive added the IP of the site to the Java security settings & set them to low & am running the latest version of JAVA. Ive tried different browsers & different OS's but I cant seam to get the login box up.
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to resolve this?

did you use the latest 8.1 version of the simulator ?

Yes, the exact version is 8.1.0.15_1DM

can you ssh to the IP address of the appliance (control station) ..when you login to the appliance, do you see any error messages about NAS services not started ?

I can SSH & log in ok, no errors about any services. I I run "service --status-all" I see the following:
