Unable to install Control Station Linux 2.0 for DART 5.6.51.3
We have NS500 Gateway with single control station.
Control station's HDD got failed.
Engineer has replaced control station with new one.
New CS was having Control Station Linux Version 1.0. Our old CS was having OS version 2.0.
EMC told to reinstall OS on Control Station.
Engineer installed OS with the help of NAS OS CD Version 5.6.51.3
After OS installation, it asked for reboot. After reboot it is now asking to insert NAS OS CD, even it is already inserted in the CD Drive.
Any idea? How to get rid of it?
Any thing which we are missing?

Hi.
it seems the installation was not completed.
This troubleshoot needs to be done locally. Please, ask the Engineer to be back, and if he needs assistance he can call the EMC support.

Hi Thanks for your reply.
But EMC Support Team and Partner is struggling since last three days to make that Control Station UP.
Till now we have received 2 more control station deliveries.
But none of them are working.
One was with CS OS Versino 1.0, One was with version 2.0 but for other NAS Code.
We are going through nightmares.
Any Idea how can we do the Factory installation of Control Station OS Version 2.0 for DART 5.6.51.3?
It should not affect the Production Celerra.

What version of NAS code you are running? Are you installing the same version on the new control station?
I am sure EMC Onsite team is taking care of the control station replacement with supported one with the NS500 - as this is a quite old hardware.
