FClip_Delete() returns OPERATION_NOT_ALLOWED

Hi,

FClip_Delete() function is always retruning OPERATION_NOT_ALLOWED although we haven't set any retention period. However we were able to delte the clips

on the centera servers.

I have run the GetCapability  and got the following result for various attributes. I see the FP_DELETE capability is TRUE.

FP_COMPLIANCE(FP_MODE) = CE

FP_COMPLIANCE(FP_RETENTION_HOLD) = unsupported

FP_COMPLIANCE(FP_EVENT_BASED_RETENTION) = unsupported

FP_RETENTION_HOLD(FP_ALLOWED) = false

FP_DELETE(FP_ALLOWED) = true

Can you please let me know what could be causing the funtion to retur the error code? Is this becuase the license model is CE (compliance edidtion)?

Thanks,

Gouse

Hi,

I belive it could because of the CE model.Also check if you've any retention or restriction set on the Application end as well.Will update you on the same once I get more information on the issue.

Sorry for my ignorance, the centera model is Governance Edition (CE).
