Query on Centera Archiving Solution

Hi all,

We have customised the default webtop search component and developed a user interface for searching the documents in the repository based on some index fields.
Now we will be using EMC Centera as an archiving solution.
The default search component searches for content in both,repository as well as Centera.
I wanted to know whether there will be any impact on the customised search component if we use Centera or will it work the same way and search in both the repository and Centera as well?
