SCv3020: Live Volume Connection/Setup (Replication) via Fiber Channel?
Can anyone assits me how to cable/configure Live Volume over Fiber Channel, which Option from below I should use to connect those storages?
Site1: Brocade Fabric1 with SW1 / SW2
Site2: Brocade Fabric2 with SW3 / SW4
Site1: SCv3020#1 with 2x4 FC Ports
Site2: SCv3020#2 with 2x4 FC Ports
Option1: SCv3020#1 connected only to Fabric1 / SCv3020#2 connected only to Fabric2
=> how is it then possible that both storages see each other? I think in that case Fabric1 see only WWN from SCv3020#1 but no WWN for SCv3020#2, or?
Option2: SCv3020#1 connected to Fabric1 and Fabric2 / SCv3020#2 connected to Fabric1 and Fabric2
=> which Storage Conttroller Port should go to which Fault Domain and to which Brocade Switch for Live Volume?
Option3: SCv3020#1 is connected as "one to one" via Fiber, in that case I would need a dedicated Live Volume Fault Domain, or?
=> which Port should be used for that?
Thanks,
Christian

Hi Christian,
Linked below is the Dell Storage Manager Admin Guide. DSM was the only place I found to configure a Live Volume. The Admin Guide has a configuration section and dedicates section 14 to Live Volumes. You might review that to see if it helps.
