Can i change ip address without affecting switch functionality?

does anybody know if i can change IP address on bladesystem 4/24 brocade switch on the fly without affecting fibre channel traffic. I want to make sure when i change the IP, the switch will not require a reboot or anything like that. This switch is built-in into a c-Cass HP BladeSystem.

I haven't heard of any fibre channel switch which needs a reboot or is disrupted if you change its management IP address.

Although your question is best directed to HP since we don't sell HP bladesystems/switches.

Since this was a brand new install ..i decided to give it a shot ..changed the ip on the fly ..no fibre connections were affected.
