ISL between brocade and cisco

Hi  ALL,

I have to setup isl between DCX-IBM system storage SAN768B fabric os v6.42a and cisco mds9222i. i have tried changing domain id and interopmode for vsan on cisco but i couldn't get the isl setup. i keep getting zone mergefailures or link failures.

can somebody help me with what is required to be done both ends like

1. should we enable access gatewaymode on brocade? or enable npiv for the port ?

2. what should be the domain id and interopmode for vsan on cisco?

this is the preparation for ivr on the cisco so are there any additional steps to be taken?
