unable to connect ibm blade trough brocade4g into mcdata fabric

Our clariions are connected through a macdata DS-24M2.

We're trying to connect an IBM blade to this fabric through 2 integrated switches brocade4g, but the link appears segmented.

The new switches have an unique domain-ID, are configured in openfabric, the port is configured in E-port, all parameters (R_A_TOV, E_D_TOV, etc.) seem compatible.

Does someone have an idea on how to merge those switches into the fabric ?

did you run your configuration through Interoperability matrix to make sure firmware versions, models are supported. Did you enable interop mode on the Brocade ? What domain ID's did you set on the Brocades ?

number 5, and no other switches have the same.

but the problem is probably we need to operate a firmware upgrade on the fabric, thanks a lot

also take a look at this old thread ..it has to do with assigning domain IDs

combination of upgrading firmware (with some difficulties) and choosing a DomainID in the good range solved the problem.
many thanks
