U2720Q-two input sources (Mac mini + Dell laptop)

I have seen some related posts, but commenting was no longer accepted so I thought to start a new thread.

I have just managed to connect my U2720Q to two input sources as per below:

1. Mac mini>> using USB-C cable
2. Dell laptop>>using HDMI cable

To do this you would need to open the DDPM application (provided with your Dell monitor), navigate to "Configure" and then to "Input source" panel and ensure the below settings:

then navigate to the bottom of the window under "Input switch shortcut key". Click in the field right under and record your preferred shortcut key et voila, you should now have a working method to switch between the two sources. Enjoy!
