Dell Cancelled my order - no notification or communication

Aug 16th I purchased a Dell XPS Special Edition Desktop.  I saw the charge go though on my credit card.   I received a confirmation email with an order number and an expected delivery date.

Aug 24th I logged on to the site our of curiosity.  My order doesn't appear under "My orders".  I use my order number to search for my order and the status now Says canceled.   How did my order get canceled?  Why was I not informed (in any way, email, text, phone).

What is going on??? I needed this system in Sept... where do i stand now?  

I would attempt to re-order although I used promotional codes (that dell sent me themselves!) that have since expired.

This would have been my 3rd Dell system

Extremely frustrated with the situation ... even more frustrated nothing was communicated to me.

What is going on here?
