I've forgotten the password to my dell venue 7 tablet and the factory reset isn't working. How can I reset it and possibly retain the d

You should be able to go to google.com and log in with the username or email address. Let them know you have forgotten the password and they will take it from there. I'm not sure of any way to 'reset' the device without loosing the data as its a security feature.
