I have been charged twice for same order
Hi,
This is a concern for most of the dell laptop purchases on dell website. And now I am an affected consumer of the same.
The standard process for dell while purchasing using debit/credit card of holding the amount while ordering and charging at the time of shipping the product is causing problems to lot of consumers.
This time, i have been charged once while placing the order and also today when its about to ship from dell center.
I am unable to raise the service request today as the dell order support is off on saturdays and sundays.
Can anyone from the dell support team take this as priority please?

Me too. Order completed on 5/23/2018. Charged on 5/31 and again, the same amount on 6/1/18. Today is 6/17/2018 and the charges are no longer pending, but final. This is the first credit card dispute I've had to file with my bank in over 20 years. Please fix the issue in your system (as discussed with other customers) to avoid this confusion in the future. I have filed order support ticket with Dell to resolve.

I have same issue and it was really frustrated answer. Make me want to scream.
I found out Dell charge twice and all they said -- Ok, no problem we will solve this. You will get your refund back within 24 hours to 3 days.
3 days passed nothing came up. Call Dell. Their answer-- Oh! We did fax request to your bank. And you should talk to your bank.
Credit card company respond-- No, never got the request.
Call Dell again, they respond-- We did fax, and that is all we can do. You should talk to your credit card company.
What is this? Sounds is my fault to have you charge me two time in one order.
I called again, I know I can be annoying. Well, it is one thousand dollars.
The support member sigh-- We did fax, and the case is have been closed. I can create new one for you again. And I can fax one more time for you, if you like. Seriously, even my supervisor will tell you the same thing. So, you want me re- fax ?
What? How could you closed the case without even give my money back?
I don't understand, this is computer manufacture. They use fax, and they don't take responsibility to charge customer who didn't purchased.
And why they sound like it is our fault to ask to have my money refund?

I have the same experience as of today. They closed the case without checking if Chase Visa received the credit to my account or not. Now, I have to open dispute process from Chase. It is sad that I have to use this route for fight for the error Dell made in the first place.
