Lack of Support for Military Customers Abroad
Dell has wasted a week of my time to inform me that company policy is to not ship any Dell product greater than 15" to an APO address.
The Dell XPS 27 I ordered on 09-NOV-13 meets US Postal Service (USPS) and Military Postal Service (MPS) regulatory requirements for shipping.
The Dell XPS 27 in its shipping box is 33"x13"x24" and 46-lbs.
These dimensions are within the USPS/MPS limits of 108" (33"+13"+24"+13"+24"=107"), no single dimension greater than 72", and maximum wieght of 70-lbs.
Though my Dell representatives have been courteous and professional during each of my 1am service calls from Korea, they appear powerless to help me give my money to Dell for a computer bigger than a toaster.
Before I spend hundreds of dollars on a "Ship-to-APO" third-party service, can I just get Dell to help me out?

It has been 7-days since I initiated my order and 48-hrs since I posted my concern in this forum. I request someone with a "DELL-" in front of their screen name please at least acknowledge my concern within the standards set by the forum.

esfowler,
We Forum Liaisons are not sales representatives and do not have access to the sales tools. You need to reach out to the Sales team via email or chat and find out what they can do. There is nothing we can do from the USA.
