My Online Ordering Experience with Dell (yuck)

What happened : 

19NOV2019 Ordered a laptop using my credit card via Dell web site - order acknowledged via email. Delivery date quoted 13DEC2019(!).

20-21NOV2019 Noticed my order was in hold pending finance approval. 

22NOV2019 Noticed my order was in hold pending finance approval. Call Dell hotline to find out why order was still pending finance approval when I had already supplied credit card details with my order.  Customer rep tells me he will investigate the matter and provide a service request number by end of day. 

23NOV2019 Noticed my order was still on  hold pending finance approval. No response from customer service - either via web site or email.

24 -26 NOV2019 My order is still on  hold pending finance approval. Still no response from customer service - either via web site or email.

around 26NOV2019 end of day put in service request via Dell web site form.

28NOV2019 Dell responds:  [ Good day and thank you for calling Dell. This is regarding the order for the XXXXXX under order number <Order number removed>. I have opened a case under this Service Request (SR) number 0000000. Please do provide the proof of your payment for the finance to process the payment.] 

Somewhere over weekend of 28-29NOV my order is canceled by Dell (?)

3 DEC 2019 A sales rep calls me on my mobile asking me if I'd like to purchase the(?) Dell laptop. She offers me a 'good' price  (this is the same price advertised on their web site at the time). The quoted price is >$200 cheaper than when I placed my original price. However I decline as I have lost faith in Dell's ability to : 1. accept and process an order 2. Respond meaningfully to customer queries.  3. Deliver

5DEC2019 Receive an email from Customer Rep informing me my original order has been canceled.

Dell is currently trying to determine why my order was cancelled again, even as charges are made on my card.

I started ordering on 29 Nov, and have placed the order 4 times, after support said, just order again.

I need the computers, and now that black friday sale is over, I'm unable to get a good deal elsewhere.
