My email address associated with my Dell.com account is incorrect after switching Internet providers. I've tried several times just to update my email address. I get the error message:
We're sorry, due to technical difficulties we are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvience [sic] .
Really Dell, really?
When I've called to get assistance I'm sent on a wild call transfer ride. Updating an email address is something really, really basic. I won't mention the fact that I have to have several email/login accounts to access different parts of the Dell infrastructure (OK, I just mentioned it). It just seems in the attempt to make the Dell phone/ordering/support system efficient they've created a rat's nest.
Does anyone know how to get an email updated on Dell.com?
I'm thinking because you're having so much trouble updating your email address, ( I looked and I didn't see a place to change it either), that the easiest thing for you would be to delete this account and create a new account with the current email address.
How does this sound to you? It's a work-around, but it will do the job.

Thanks for the suggestion, that does seem to be a straightforward solution. I will check and see if I can pull in the transaction history and link my dfs account.
