Unsolicited email from NPOS_Sales@dell.com

Jump to solution

I keep receiving unsolicited emails from "NPOS_Sales@dell.com" with my devices service tag and warranty information. It says thank you for your recent purchase. Meanwhile, I haven't purchased anything recently. It doesn't ask me for anything personal, but it is filled with links. As I keep receiving it, I wonder if it is in fact a phishing email?

It is a VALID email from the Dell Sales account team. It is sent when a service tag number shows as nearing the end of the purchased warranty. The email is sent to provide to you the option of extending the warranty period.

Thanks for notifying us. We are investigating this. Presently, do not click any of the links within the email. When I hear anything, I will post on this thread.
