Very disappointed customer service

Hi,

 

I ordered Sony a6000 camera on Dec 29th 17 (Canada) with expected delivery date of Jan 8th. It was delayed into March 2018 so I chatted online with an agent who assured me that it will be delivered for sure on Jan 15th or before. 

This did not happen so I emailed back. The answer I got was to wait till 18th to be shipped. It did not happen on 18th so I called at that time. The agent kept blaming on the vendor. I finally said that I did not pay the vendor, but I paid and dealt with Dell. They still want 2 more days to look into this issue. By the way, there was no apology in the email. The email just indicated what the issue is and they are working on it.

Is this what to expect from Dell?

I asked the agent if I can speak with her supervisor and she told me flat out "no, nothing they can do, nothing I can do."

If this is to be expected from Dell, then it may be the first and the last time I`d be ordering anything from Dell.
