Which mac address is traced if USB internet modem is used?
Dear All,
I know that my ethernet modem is malfunction so there left two ways to log to the internet.
first way through WIFI and second through USB modem?
so i need some one to confirm to me that the WIFI MAC address is the one that would appear during logging via wireless network and not the mac address so we can trace.
Also if the thief use his USB modem for my stolen laptop then what is the MAC address that would appear?

Hi hazem madian,
A MAC address of wireless card will appear when you try logging via wireless network and USB modem MAC address if its through a USB modem.
The USB modem that gets connected only provides the USB modem mac address.
