call from "Dell Support"

Just wait until you get a call from "Dell Support" trying to take over your computer because all of your PII with Dell has been compromised.  Name, phone number, address, service tag number, what you bought, etc.  Stay away from Dell, they can's secure your information.

Scam calls targeting technology customers has become one of the most prevalent forms of phone fraud in the US.

These phishing scams are increasingly more sophisticated. They are touching not only technology companies but all industries.

Dell customers who feel that they have been the victim of a phone scam
(or an attempted phone scam) can go to www.dell.com/reportphonescams and self-report the details of their case,  or they may call 866-453-1742 to report it. The fraud team reviews all submissions through both channels and will contact the customers for more details if needed.
