Unable to access or manage PowerVault MD3200i

Hello,

I am attempting to access a PowerVault MD3200i. I am able to ping the server via both management nics, but when I attempt to RDP or access it via OMSA, I am unable to access it. When attempting OMSA via the web browser, I am using the address https://10.0.0.8:1311/ and https://10.0.0.9:1311/. I've attempted with Chrome and IE 11. When accessing the address, I receive an error that the address refused to connect. I am able to ping both addresses successfully.

Would you please advise how I may regain access to manage this device? Thank you.

Hello ldouglass,

You will want to use MDSM (Modular Disk Storage Manager) to manage your MD3200i.  You can find MDSM on the resource dvd.  Here is a link so that you can download the resource dvd.  https://dell.to/2SEKECD

MDSM runs on any windows host.  You can install it on a desktop or windows vm that has access to the same network as the management ports ip’s.
