NFS export to HP-UX 11.0
Good Afternoon,
We have HP-UX 11.0 and its NFS client can only support max size 4TB of exports.
I'm using mtree with hard/soft quota limit, and NFS export to HP-UX, but because it's more than 4TB, HP-UX system cannot mount it.
Do you guys know how to overcome this with just using DataDomain and it's funtionality?
Thanks,
bizior.

Is this really 11.00? If so, check NFS filesystem limits. Dave Olker from HP gave the overview there and since limit comes from OS/protocol implementation itself, you can only limit the size of export (or break them) or update OS.

Hrvoje,
Yes, it is HP-UX 11. I read the HP forum you sent, and couldn't find the answer to my original question, which is:
How to limit filesystem to let's say 1TB coming off the DataDomain and the export it via NFS to HP-UX system?
Thanks,
bizior.

Only by creating export which is 1TB in size.

Maybe I'm missing something - but how do you do that on DataDomain 5.4.1.1? I don't see place you could specify the size of your export.
Thanks,
Bizior.

You are right.. I thought you could mask it via mtree, but this is not possible.
