Networker backup to data domain on a specific network interface

Jump to solution

Good morning all,

I have a DD2200 and Networker 9.2.1.

I have 2 LANs :

- management (ethMa)

- backup dedicated (veth0)

I'd like the backups to use the dedicated backup network only (on veth0)

(I'm backuping servers, each of them have a dedicated NIC in the backup LAN)

In Networker, the clients are configured to backup to the DD, I have a list of DD interfaces but don't know what it stands for :

Could someone help on this ?

Dear Cberger,

You setup that in DD. Not in Networker.

It is under Protocols - DD Boost. There is a tab with Interface group settings. From here, you add the veth0 ip in there and remove the ethma ip.
