Due to a rare race condition, Data Domain systems (DDRs, DDVE, and DDVE in cloud) running DDOS version 7.7.1.0, 7.7.2.0, 7.8.0.0, and 7.8.0.10 may potentially experience data loss when backups are written while Cleaning is running. Customers running these releases are recommended to update to a release DDOS 7.7.1.10, 7.7.2.10, 7.8.0.20, and later which addresses the issue.

DD OS 7.9.0.0 – New Release has been introduced! 
- DD OS 7 supports new platforms and hardware with enhanced DDVE performance and PowerProtect
DD Management Center.
