DPA agent does not start after Linux VM reboot

Hi all,

I have one Centos (6.5) Esxi (5.5) VM with the "Datastore service" running and another Centos Esxi VM with the "Application service" running.

We had to reboot both of them and i used the EMC Support Solution Number 189555 to check if all is ok.

I noticed the agent service is shown as STOPPED with the "dpa.sh svc status" command.

Starting the agent does not report errors., but the service is still STOPPED.

So i wonder what the true status of the agent service is.

The behavior is the same with the other VM.

The "install and admin guide" has a troubleshooting chapter but this problem is not discussed here.

Any help will be very appreciated.
