DellSmbios:\Bootsequence question
Hello,
is it possible to make device like CDrom, Usb storage device and Diskett drive inactive/disable for boot option via dell ps provider?
I can only change the order but cannot figure out how to disable specific boot device.

No, disabling a boot device is not yet implemented in Dell ps provider.
You may want to check Dell Command | Configure (DCC) for the command cctk bootorder.
Example:
cctk bootorder --sequence=cdrom,hdd.2,hdd.1 --disabledevice=hdd.2

Hi,
Dell PowerShell Provider V1.3 is out but disable device is not yet implemented !!
We have to use both CCTK and PowerShell Provider...and we have to use CCTK 3.1 and 3.3 following if SMBIOS is v3.0 or not...
It's hard to maintain a simple solution until all the possibilities of CCTK are implemented in the PowerShell Provider !
