Office disappearing from Start Menu during encryption - needs reboot to see Office Suite again, is this expected behaviour?
Office disappears when the encryption reaches the C:\Windows folders from Start Menu during encryption - we have to reboot to be able see Office Suite again, is this expected behaviour?

We are currently researching a fix for this with our upcoming 8.15 revision of Dell Encryption. This is being tracked on development tickets DDPC-6481 and DDPC-6117.
Currently Microsoft is identifying our attempts to encrypt .lnk files and is flagging the original .lnk file as "invalid", which is removing it from view. We are working on a solution to this currently which we are planning to have within 8.15.
We can safely work-around this issue by excluding .lnk files from encryption. for more information on creating exclusions, please reference this KB article:
