Online Catalog not available

Since a few days the catalog update runs in this error:

Running
Processing repository information.
Attempting to connect to repository.
Downloading catalog failed.
Repository creation failed. Please provide valid credentials and/or repository path.
Task Failed. Completed With Errors.

Nothing has changed in our environment. It seems the last update was un March 8, 2021.

The OME is configured with IPv6 and IPv4. We had this problem already in the past. Do we have ist again?

Greetings Barbara

Yes, I tried also to create a new catalog with the same result as _Joren_. Additionally all older informations are lost during this.

Meanwhile I created an offline catalog using Dell Repository Manager. The Repository Manger is able to communicate with Dell, but in the moment i try to update some servers in OME I run in this error:

This may take sometime
Downloading and verifying the update package(s)

HTTP 500 let me assume that Dell has a technical problem.

Same issue here. I removed my baseline with the Dell online catalog and am now not able to recreate it.

An unknown error has occurred. Please try again.
  • Unable to download the catalog file.
Recommended Action
  • Make sure the remote repository is available and retry the operation.

I assume the catalog is located here: https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/Catalog.xml.gz

Browsing to the catalog manually shows a 500 server error

Same issue here. No updates working via OME Firmware Updates. Tried server updates via LifeCycle Controller and also not working. Network connection test to ftp.dell.com or downloads.dell.com both are successful, but can't download. I have a blade server in an M1000e and via the CMC I was able to update the BIOS on several servers via the downloaded BIOS update.exe file. But not all firmware components available to update via CMC. If memory servers, this happens every few years, an issue on their site. By the time they make it aware, it's usually fixed. I'll try again next week.
