Unable to add MD 3600i to Enterprise

Hello;

I have a dell MD3600i that I am trying to add to Open Manage Enterprise.  When I do discovery --> Storage and set the SNMP community, it still fails.

 

I have ran support assist and verified SNMP is up, that the community string is correct.

 

Any ideas?

Ah, appears to be a support based issue.  The MD3600i does not seem to be supported?

Hi Mike,

Right unfortunately at this time, MD is not in the support matrix for OpenManage Enterprise.  I'll pass word along to the right folks noting your interest.

Yes, for sure.  We currently only have support for SNMP v1/v2 discovery of some Dell network switches.  Our SNMP v3 support is limited to iDRAC traps/alerts.  We are reviewing future SNMP support of new devices.
