Email alert not working after upgrade
Hello. I did an upgrade of it assistant 8.9 to openmanage essentials.
IT assistant work perfect with mail alert etc, but after the upgrade it dont work anymore?
I found sendmail.exe in the essential installation and tried to send mail through the command prompt and it worked! Anyone have some ide whats missing with the essential setup?

Any idea when this update to OME might be out, or beta-testable? I'm very pleased with it as a replacement for ITA, but the lack of email alerts is a killer.

In general OME will send out e-mail alerts. there are some issues that are resolved with the upcoming version that is scheduled to release very soon.

In my case, OME doesn't send email. So the ability to specify username/pw and perhaps port number are welcome additions.
