MIB Import Pain

I downloaded all the v2 MIBs from http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/MIBS/MainServlet?ReleaseSel=3775&PlatformSel=85&fsSel=33.

When I go to MIB Repository and try "Add the MIB Folder Path", it tells me "Added 0 file(s) in MIB Repository successfully."  If I try to randomly import one of the MIBs, it will often tell me that some other MIB needs to be imported first.

It's been a frustrating experience.  With a different application we have, I gave it the folder and it quickly imported all the MIBs.

Thanks MK1024 for your post.

Can you tell us from which MIB file you want to import traps out of this repository? This will help us guide you appropriately around the problem you are facing.

Thanks,
Vijay

I guess an example is CISCO-VISM-TRAPS-MIB.my

When I try to Parse it, I'm told I need to first add:

RTM-MIB
BASIS-MIB
BASIS-SHELF-MIB
BASIS-GENERIC-MIB
GENERICOBJECT-MIB
CISCO-VISM-PORT-MIB
CISCO-VISM-CAS-MIB
CISCO-VISM-ATM-TRUNK-MIB
CISCO-VISM-HDLC-MIB
CISCO-VISM-DSX0-MIB
CISCO-VISM-MODULE-MIB
CISCO-VISM-CONN-MIB
CISCO-VISM-CAC-MIB
CISCO-VISM-SESSION-MIB
CISCO-WAN-MG-MIB
CISCO-WAN-MGC-REDUN-MIB
CISCO-WAN-SRCP-MIB
CISCO-WAN-PERSISTENT-XGCP-EVENTS-MIB
CISCO-WAN-VISM-TONE-PLAN-MIB
CISCO-WAN-LAPD-TRUNK-MIB
CISCO-WAN-RTP-CONN-MIB
CISCO-WAN-ANNOUNCEMENT-MIB
INT-SERV-MIB
RSVP-MIB
CISCO-VOICE-CAS-MODULE-MIB

I'm not sure that these won't also have their own dependencies.

There are 1425 MIBs in the v2 package that I downloaded.  It would be quite a lot of time to figure out in which order they need to be loaded.

No Events found!
