ML6000 Tape Libraries showing as one device
I have two ML6000 libraries I am trying to monitor. When I add them separately they are fine. When I add them both they show up as one device, the IP address shows up as a second NIC and it does not show me all the drives. I tried NetBIOS and DNS.

Thanks for the query.
I would like to ask few details which will help to drill further to the problem:
1. Which version of OME are you working with?
2. By any chance, does the two libraries have same host name?
3. Which version of firmware are these libraries running with, is it latest?

Hello,
The host names are not the same,
OME 2.1.0.2635
They are both running 670G.GS003

Thanks for the information, Adam!
Can you also check if any of the NICs of individual libraries are having same MAC address? This might also result in merging two devices into one.

Make sure that there are Host records in DNS for the tape libraries. I had the same problem and once I added static A records and re-ran discovery and inventory they reported into OME as separate devices.
