System Update Status

Hi

I have updated a  server with some updates .

The server has moved from non-complaint to complaint state

In the task execution history the server shows up with a red X on status .

i have re inventoried  the server but it still has the red X

In the Execution details it says that the task failed for the target device

i have attached the results from the system update .

Can someone help tell me why the server has moved to complaint state even after it failed on a update

thanks

This is more or less the reason  "Exit code = 2 (Reboot required)"

Even though it installed successfully, it gives an error code due to the fact that a reboot is required....

Thanks for your post. We have seen this occasionally when the DUP returns reboot required, the update task doesn't show the status as success although the DUP has been applied successfully. As you have noticed, if you run inventory manually it does pick up the updated versions and updates the server compliance status appropriately. We are looking at improving this behavior for the future release.
