Trouble importing iSM 2.0 into vSphere Update Manager
When i try to import the iSM 2.0 Offline-Bundle into the VMware vSphere Update Manager i get the message "Cannot upload file, because it is an invalid package". Downloaded severl times and unpacked manually, seems ok. The iSM is version 2.0.0-177, vCenter and Update Manager are Version 5.5 Update 2. Any hints?
With regards, Marc

Hi Marc thanks for the post.
Just double checking...is this an OpenManage Essentials question or the vShpere plugin?
If vSphere, please post over at the vCenter forum to the right guys can take a look.
Thanks!

I guess it belongs to Open Essential or to Systems Management in general, because the iSM for ESXi should be functional without the OpenManage Integration for vSphere-Plugin. I have installed version 1.0 the same way, but 2.0 does not install because of the above mentioned message when trying to implement via update manager.

Ok, are you using OME v 1.3 or 2.0? That might help as a starting point.
If it is strictly the vCenter plugin, then those guys are at the other URL from my previous post and should have a quick answer for you.
Thanks!
