3050 hdmi audio

I recently purchased a 3050 model on black Friday to be my htpc.  I cannot figure out how to get 5.1 sound out of the *** thing!!!! My setup is fairly simple.  PC - receiver - tv.  I'm running windows 10.  I have installed the latest audio and video drivers from dell.  Under the settings menu in the audio tab my options are intel display display audio or realtek high definition audio.  If I select the intel option it only gives me the option of 2 channels and hdcp is not supported.  If I test them it does work out of my front two speakers.  I've heard I have to have something called intel hdmi audio which I downloaded and installed but still nothing.  Any ideas if I can't get this to use 5.1 sound it is useless to me.
