ATI FirePro Resolution changes after waking from sleep

Hi

I got my T1600 equipped with an ATI Firepro 4800 so I could use three monitors

To get all 3 monitors working I ended up using the built-in VGA for one ;(
Not ideal but it works... 

Now I discover that if I power off the monitors while the computer is suspended or hibernated the VGA monitor resolution get set to 1024x768 when re-awoken
leaving me with an ugly oversized display and windows I previously had open unable to be used.

The only fix Ive found is to restart the T1600 which is inconvenient and time consuming 

Ive tried updating drivers etc & a the full vide diags say everything is OK

Any & all suggestions appreciated
