Alienware Aurora wont detect newly installed RAM!
Today I picked up RAM for my Alienware Aurora.
It got 6 slots: 3 of them are filled with 1GB units.
I bought one 8GB unit, but it does for some reason not work!
What is wrong? It shows 3GB ram instead of 11GB?

You could also, read the Announcement by Chris M, at the top of the Desktop General Hardware Forum page.
On the 'Alienware Club' page, click ' Join Group', then 'Forum', followed by 'New Post' to post a new message.
