Are Dimension XPS systems loud?
I'm thinking about getting a Dimension XPS system with the current offer, however my MAJOR concern right now is if the systems are LOUD. My previous 8300 model had to be returned, because it was so freaking loud all the time. I was wondering if the XPS has this issue or a similar issue.

I just got mine, a 3.12GHz with a 10K rpm disk, and it sounds like a steam locomotive. I am wondering how far away from my work area I can move it! Don't buy one, if you are affected by noisy machines!

I just received mine the other day and it doesn't seem too loud at all....I guess it depends what you think is "too" loud.....Loud or not however, it flies!!!!!!!!!!
