Can I use 3 hard drives in the XPS 8920?

I have an XPS 8920 that I added a second hard drive to no problem.  I want to add a third drive which is a solid state drive, and there are 3 bays for hard drives, but I don't see a third data cable.  Do I need to get a cable that will piggy back off the other ones?

You have 4 SATA ports, 2 of which I believe are black and could be hard to see.  You will have to provide your own SATA cable but the inputs on the motherboard should be right next to each other in a line.

Tried to edit post, in case it doesn't go through... here is a direct link of the board.

BeamerMT79 is right and has a great answer, just to add here is an image of the board:

#4-7 are the SATA ports that can be used (from his post, and as mentioned 6/7 should be free).

Best regards,

Brad

That link is very helpful.  I am guessing I need to just get a y adapter for the power.

Glad to hear! On your power supply do you see any empty SATA cables? it would be preferable to use a cable that is already there, or even an adapter from another empty one vs trying to split it.

Brad
