Can my vista reinstall dvd be used on a new HD?
Hello all, I have a Dimension E520 and my c drive is failing. Can I use my Vista reinstall dvd on a new HD? If so, how do I do it?

Yes you can use the reinstall disk. Follow the directions HERE for a manual install. For a new drive, boot to the vista dvd and select Custom install to format the drive by creating a partition for Windows.
