Can't get in to Setup w/USB keyboard - OptiPlex GX280
Am unable to get into the BIOS Setup with a Microsoft USB keyboard. The BIOS won't recognize the F2 key or CTL-ALT-Enter keys on the Dell logo screen. The next screen that shows the BIOS level (which is A08) also shows "keyboard failure". However the keyboard works fine after XP is booted. Every time I boot up the system it shows "keyboard failure" but always works after XP boots.
The OptiPlex GX280 does not have the normal keyboard pin connector, just USB ports.
At one time I remember Dell having an EXE that would get you into Setup but searching the Support site didn't show anything. Anyone have ideas how I can get into Setup?
Thanks

Problem solved. Swapped keyboard USB cable from monitor USB port to system board USB port .
