Clock slowing

My clock seems to be slowing down (losing minutes daily) - is this a sign my cmos battery is dying? My Dimension xps 300 is only 2 years old but i leave it on a lot. Thanks,
Keith

I had the same problem. With the help of a lot of nice people in this forum; it is fixed. If you leave your system on all the time, try rebooting everyday to free up resources. Click Start, Run type in msconfig, click on the Startup Tab and disable everything you don't need.
Hope this helps.
