DELL INSPIRON 3250 desktop - Memory Upgrade

Hi all,

I have DELL INSPIRON 3250 desktop supported by DDR3L RAM. Is it possible for me to replace DDR3L with DDR4 RAM (Intel 6th Gen I5-6400) and chipset is H110.

Existing RAM : DDR3L 1600Mhz (UDIMM slots)

I tried CRUCIAL website. They only mention DDR3L RAM. Some internet websites mention that SKYLAKE motherboard support both DDR3L(1.35v) & DDR4(1.2v). I assume my motherboard chipset fall under SKYLAKE category.

I don't want to feel disappointed after investing in DDR4 RAM. That's why I want to clarify before buying. If DDR4 shall be supported, what speed I should choose. Also only if DDR3L RAM supported, can I try going beyond 1600 mhz
