DELL Optiplex 170L new mobo install power button not working...
I just installed a newer mobo for my optiplex 170l (mobo u2575) I connected everything correctly, seated & reseated and when I push the power button on the outside of the box...nothing. The green light on the mobo is lighting up so its getting power it just wont flip on w/ the power button, there is also no lights on the front of the tower illuminating ? Thanks for the help.

Was the replacement a new motherboard or was it a used/refurbished board? If it was a new/refurbished it could be bad.
If it's a new board, you will have to check the front panel connection to make sure it's exactly the same as the original. We are just users helping users on here and do not have access to the Dell proprietary and undocumented connector pin outs.
