DELL Optiplex 745 CPU Update to q8400
Hi
My father has Optiplex 745. It works good but the CPU is pretty old - E2200 :)
I want to update it to Q8400.
Is it possible?

45nm wolfdale q8400 will not work.
The Specs say:
BIOS version 2.6.4 is required as well as a Tower 300W POWER
See HERE
Conroe/Allendale C2D or Kentsfield Quads only.
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 Kentsfield 2.66GHz BX80562Q6700
Lithography 65 nm
