I plan to sort of rebuild my Dell XPS 8700 desktop... I would like a new case, new psu, and a new GPU and possibly a new cooler! I plan on getting these items
Case: Sentey® Bx1-4284 Plus Gaming Computer Case
The main thing that I am confused about is the case... I heard the motherboard may or may not fit the case properly, and I am in need of a better case, I need better cooling also due to my house being 80 degrees in the summertime... *** to *** huh? I don't feel like buying a new AC unit just to make sure my computer doesn't melt...
So any help would be awesome, I am set on buying that PSU and GPU, but the Case is a different ball game for me... I know Dell doesn't recommend replacing cases... but I bought the computer so I want to do it! Thanks!
Thanks! - Trey [:D]
I can confirm from personal experience that the pinout in the graphic I posted is correct.
Thank you, much appreciated.

SlimJ87DEDIT: Oh, your response was to the OP? OP abandoned thread months ago. I bumped this thread to see if anyone could tell me the F_Panel pinouts.
DOH I should look more closely at the OP dates...
btw, I'm considering re-casing one of my systems for better cooling.
can you post a link to the pinout?
Just to let you guys know, new case went very well, fantastic even. Due to having a fan controller, I lost access to two front USB ports with the thermaltake, oh well. But temperatures of dropped even further.
Went from 75-76C to 70-71C for my GPU.
SLIMJ87D - Thank you.
Here you go Dan, before and after photos as promised.

Nice. I saw your thread on oc dot net. too. I'll be keeping my eyes open for deals on cases. I added a 92mm to the case with an OC'd GTX 770 and it is cooler, but still gets warm.
How are all those fans configured?
edit: I mean which are inlet fans, which are exhaust?
Inlet:
2X 140mm fans in the front
2X 120mm fans on the bottom
Outlet:
3X 140mm fans on the top
1X 120mm fan at the back.
200 CFM comes in and 200 to 220 CFM comes out.
It has helped my GPU a lot. I also changed thermal paste as well to MX-4.
The extra 92mm fan in front doesn't make much difference.
I just ordered a Corsair Carbide 300R to re-case the 8700 that is running hot with the GTX 770.
$30 after rebates including three additional 120mm Cougar fans. These fans are really quiet so it should be a step in the right direction, and maybe even set the stage for a GTX 970 or 980 as a christmas gift.

Your comment on getting a new case vs adding fans made a lot of sense. Thanks.

Did you use new thermal paste on the GPU or on the CPU?
What about reset? and this works for xps8700?
