DVD ROM is not displayed in my DELL laptop 1525
Previously it was running with no problem.
but today my DVD ROM drive is not displayed/detected even the power is OK.
I can open the door of ROM. but it is not displaying the drive letter and contents.
I have also reseated it but all in vain
even i was also searching it in BIOS to know is it enable or not but i could not find any option to check it.
Please Please Please Please Please HELP

First, this is the DESKTOP section, not the Laptop section.
There can be several reasons for the drive to not be detected. There is a general forum section for both Laptop and Desktop CD/DVD problems. Repost there and along with your PC model also include your Operating System Version. Click Me
