Dell Desktop Inspiration 560 Well not start up.

Dell Desktop Inspiration 560 Will not start up.  I put in new DVD drive because other did not work anymore.  Computer would freeze  when it got to the desktop.  I unplugged the computer,  pulled battery out,  and set the cmos pin to 2-3  to reset.  Then I put the jumper back I thought I put it back to the 1-2 run position, got distracted and,  put it into the 2-3 instead.  I put back in the battery and plunged it in and got 5 beep code error.  Realizing what I did I turned off the computer.  Set it properly, and it would not start up.  I checked the power supply and it showed faulty.  I put a new psu in and they only thing I get is the fans on and no beep.  What can I do if anything?

Hi Mkane10

Thanks for writing to us.

What is the status of power light, is it solid amber or blinking amber, or solid white/blue?

You can try remove the memory modules and try with one at a time and observe for any promising changes.

Do you see Dell logo at startup?

Await your response.

Regards
