Dell Dimension 5250 upgrade to USB 3.0 pci card?

I cannot find a Dell Dimension 5250 listed in Dell's line of computers.

Are you certain this is the right model?

There are Dimension 5000, 5150/e510, e520 models listed

If you have an open PCI slot, you could install a PCI USB 3.0 card, similar to this:

The card will need to a SATA power connector, connected to the above card.

Or you could use a PCI Express x1 card, similar to this:

This card will need to a 4-pin Molex power connector, to add supplementary power.

Thank you so much for your help.  My mistake - you are correct that it is the 5150 model.  I shall try the PCI express card you mention, so that I can hopefully get full speed out of my new USB 3.0 4TB Seagate external desktop hard drive.

P.S.  As I only need 1 usb 3.0 port, do you think the following card would be suitable (it has 2 ports) rather than the 4 port card you had recommended?  It is $10 cheaper, and if it will do the job then I would be happy to save the money.

The 20cm 4 Pin Female IDE/Molex to 15 Pin SATA Male Power adaptor cable that shown here, should be fine:

I just installed a standard 4 port usb 3.0 into my low profile computer and spliced a 4 pin power connecter and it works perfectly except for the fact that it only transfers at 60mb/s instead of 4 gb/s, but still it's working.
