Dell Dimension 8300
I rebuilt this desktop that had windows xp home previously
with xp professional service pack 2. When I am in device manager
under other devices I am still seeing conflicts for ethernet controller
and multimedia audio controller. I went to dell's website under drivers
for this machine but still can't install the correct drivers.
any ideas, thanks

To be clear, did you first install the chipset driver before the other correct drivers, which is required?
